Community Interest Company Community Energy Solutions (CES) is continuing its partnership with Wakefield Council in an effort to help tackle the town’s fuel poverty.
CES which has offices in Leeds Boldon (Tyne and Wear) and Stockton worked alongside Dyson Insulations Ltd to install a 2.2kWp solar photovoltaic (PV) system at the home of Ryehill residents, Mr. and Mrs Fletcher in December 2011.

Climate Change Minister Greg Barker recently launched a partnership to ensure the UK has the right skills to implement the Green Deal, the government’s flagship policy to improve the energy efficiency of buildings.

Clearfleau and UTS Biogastechnik have confirmed that they will collaborate on developing the UK market for Anaerobic Digestion (AD) and related low carbon technologies. T.G.I. Friday’s (UK) Limited's waste cooking oil from around 50 restaurants in the UK is going to be turned into carbon savings. The waste oil will be collected by Convert2Green, refined into bio-diesel at its plant in Cheshire and will be used to fuel 3663’s trucks, T.G.I. Friday’s supply chain partner, to deliver the food to the restaurants.
