Feed-in Tariffs in Ukraine ranking among the highest in Europe

Ukraine seeks to reduce its current dependency on gas imports. Breeding better grasses for food and fuel

Researchers from the Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council (BBSRC) Sustainable Bioenergy Centre (BSBEC) have discovered a family of genes that could help us breed grasses with improved properties for diet and bioenergy. The research was carried out by a team from the University of Cambridge and Rothamsted Research, which receives strategic funding from BBSRC. RenEnergy to hold first-ever renewable Heat Incentive conference in Norwich

RenEnergy will be hosting their first-ever Renewable Heat Incentive Conference on February 29th at Dunston Hall, Norwich. On November 28th, 2011, the Government launched the Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) which pays off-gas commercial concerns for the micro-generation of renewable heat.
